Giving Season has Begun!
Believe it or not, many nonprofits raise up to half of their annual fundraising budget during year-end campaigns. Although we continue to share our stories, goals and achievements throughout the year, we are planning our own year-end campaign.
We are trying something new – an online auction to coincide with Giving Tuesday. Using the Give Butter platform – an organization that has been helping nonprofits reach their fundraising goals for more than a decade – we will hold an auction beginning at 9:00 am on November 28th and ending at 9:00 am November 29th.
Give Butter runs the entire auction on their seamless software. You go to the site, see the items listed and then bid. This all happens in real time. You can even get notifications on your phone if someone has outbid you and be notified when you have won.
We have a great list of items so far and are working on more. Mark your calendar and join us for a fun day of bidding.
