What a night we had at Lakes & Legends Brewing Company – a large crowd of friends, family and supportive new comers to Hope Now.
Thank you to everyone who helped us reach our fundraising goal for the night. We are filled with gratitude to all that gave, helped spread the word and who reached out to us for the first time asking what they can do to help.
Winston Churchill once said, “We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.” There are so many demands pulling us in so many directions in this modern world. It can be difficult to find the time for activities outside our everyday life. The reality is the nonprofit world cannot exist without volunteers willing to give of their time, their expertise, their guidance and giving.
Any community is only as strong as its members. It takes a Hercules-sized effort for most nonprofits to succeed. It takes the combined efforts of us all to ensure that the generations to come will be able to accomplish what we could not.
Those types of dreams require an education, a strong sense of self and an environment to develop a world view without limits due to poverty, inequity and – for our kids – the stigma attached to HIV/AIDS in the developing world.
We have big dreams. We truly believe our kids can do anything. We diligently work
to build a world where disease does not limit possibility. We work everyday to provide the tools our kids need to get where they want to go.
We do this in partnership with all of you.
We thank you again for being a part of our family and believing in our kids.
